A George V silver teapot, maker Manoah Rhodes& Sons Ltd, London, 1918: inscribed, of squat globular form with domed hinged lid, on a spreading circular foot, 17cm high, together with a near matching hot water jug, maker Manoah Rhodes & Sons Ltd, London, 1918, initialled, 21cm high, total weight of silver, 1168gms, 37.55ozs.
A Chinese Yixing teapot and bitong: the former of buff colour and of tapering lobed form with pierced dome cover, the body incised with texts, seal mark to base, the bitong of reddish brown tone incised with a Magpie amongst foliage and verso with texts, both with impressed seal marks, 11.5 and 13cm high.
Three silver plated teapot/coffee pots, comprising a coffee pot with acorn finial, an acanthus leaf moulded handle, stamped to underside FD&S and numbered 1305, 25cm high, a further coffee pot unmarked with a turned oak handle, and reeded lid, 22cm high, and a hot water jug, with Prince of Wales feather stamp to underside and stamped ABS numbered 2321, with a moulded handle, 21cm high. Tray of fine bone china Royal Stafford 'Wisteria' pattern part tea set to include: two teacups and saucers, teapot, coffee pot etc. (B.P. 21% + VAT) 3 cups, milk jug, sucrier, water jug, teapot, 1 sandwich plate, 6 saucers, 2 side plates. Items and worn and have losses to gilding. Sugar bowl has a break to rim. All cups are chipped, one has haircrack. Top of teapot has a fine haircrack.
Two trays of 19th Century Gaudy Welsh tulip design tea ware to include: teapot, jug and lidded sucrier, along with teacups and saucers and sandwich plates. (2) (B.P. 21% + VAT) Teapot - some discolouration but no obvious damage. Sucrier - 2 small chips to inside rim. Very small crack to lid handle. Cups - 2 appear older or discoloured and both have cracks. Another cup is also cracked and one handle is missing. Other 6 - 4 have no obvious damage, 1 has cracked handle and one no obvious damage but doesn't 'ring.' 10 saucers - 1 cracked and chipped, 1 cracked on 2 sides, 1 chipped to base rim. Very small, possibly firing crack to rim of jug. Basin - hairline cracks. One plate - slight knife damage. Other plate - 2 chips and some frits to underside of rim.
Two trays of assorted china to include: six Royal Albert 'Memory Lane' soup bowls, six Mason's egg cups, Royal Albert 'Silver Maple' teapot, some Jasperware, old Welsh plate, selection of Adler JKW fine porcelain, gilt edged, decorated with figures and ornate floral and gilt bowls. (2)(B.P. 21% + VAT)
