A Sunderland lustre pottery maritime jug, circa 1820, inscribed 'come shipmate here success to the trade' Coopen Arms, Jon and Mary Roe, together with view of Ironbridge, Dixon and Co Sunderland, 1813, approx 17cm h, 19th century red earthen painted teapot and cover, jug, teapot, wooden box treacle glazed mug, circa 1890 and Wedgwood blue printed plate depicting a sailing vessel. A Chinese export eight piece tea set comprising bullet shaped teapot, sparrow beak jug, six coffee cans, each with polychrome enamel decoration depicting a Rococo style crest bearing initials CONDITION REPORTS Wear and scuffs, cups are of various sizes. Four cups have numerous chips and some cracks. One cup has numerous small chips. Jug handle is broken off and glued, plus there are chips to the jug. Teapot lid is chipped, and teapot handle is broken and glued, there is a written inscription to the base of the teapot. All with wear to gilding.
A 19th Century Doulton Lambeth stoneware jug, relief decorated with stylised flowers and with mask head decorated spout, with mottled brown and green glaze, dated 1876, together with a pair of Royal Doulton bottle shaped vases with lacework decoration, in shades of lime green and blue, a pair of Doulton Slater's Patent bottle shaped stoneware vases with lacework decoration in gilt and iron red, a Doulton Slater's Patent teapot with lacework decoration in turquoise and gilt, and a Doulton Lambeth stoneware bowl dated 1881, with plated lid, rim and swing handle (7) CONDITION REPORTS The jug with mask head decoration is approx. 27 cm high , neck and spout have a very dull sound when tapped and glaze in this area matt in finish where the neck and spout appears to have been professionally restored and over-painted, when checked under ultra-violet light the neck and spout also show up a very pale colour suggesting restoration. Other items with some damage and restoration.
