A mid-to-late 19th century Copeland tea service with hand-painted Imari decoration, pattern no.2397, comprising teapot, height approx 14.5cn, sugar bowl, cream jug, set of six cups and saucers and large circular dish/platter, diameter approx 45cm, all with printed factory marks to bases. CONDITION REPORT Set appears to be in good condition with areas of wear and rubbing to the painted and gilt decoration, minor surface scratches etc, but no apparent damage or restoration, one cup af with chip to rim and two hairline cracks internally.
An early 19th century Royal Crown Derby teapot with painted and gilt-heightened Imari decoration, on ball feet, red mark to base c1806-1825, height 15cm, length approx 30cm. CONDITION REPORT Lid finial has chip to one corner, the spout has restoration, crazing throughout, some staining, expected wear to the paint and gilt decoration, pitting to glaze.
