λA George IV silver teapot, by Thomas Death, London 1820, oblong bellied form, part-fluted decoration, leaf capped scroll handle, foliate borders, the flush hinged cover with a foliate finial, engraved with a crest, on four foliate bracket feet, length handle to spout 28.5cm, approx. weight 20oz. The crest is that for Archer of Liverpool, Reynolds and Steward.
A Victorian silver teapot, by Robert Garrard, London 1839, plain bullet form, flush hinged cover with a knop finial, scroll handle, on a raised circular foot, length handle to spout 23.2cm, engraved with a crest and motto, approx. weight 18.4oz. Provenance: Major E. A. Warry, of Shapwick House, near Castle Cary, then by descent to the present owner. The crest is that of Warry.

JOHN DAVIDSON. A teapot, jug & five mugs made at the Truro Pottery, Cornwall by John Davidson. Personal marks on teapot & jug & Pottery marks on mugs. Note: The Dartington Trust acquired the site of the Lakes Pottery, Truro & studio type pottery was made there between 1978 & 1981 using the backstamp 'Truro Pottery Cornwall' & occasionally, the potter's personal mark. Two of the potters were John Davidson & Barry Huggett.
