A group of Ridgway 847 pattern porcelain, circa 1815, comprising a teapot and cover, a lidded vase with pieced cover and eagle knop, another without a cover, one dish, one slop bowl, a covered tankard (9)Provenance: The Frank Herrmann collection Teapot has star cracks to base, lid has chip and crack, spout restored, gilding to the handle rubbed. One vase missing pierced lid, gilding very rubbed on both, some scratches to the emamel, hairline cracks to both pedestals. Lidded cup has the knop to the lid restored and other restoration, hairline crack to cup. Large saucer hairline crack. Rims rubbed. Please see further images for condition.
19th century part tea services in mainly white and gilt, Copeland Spode and others. Comprising three teapots, a coffee pot, three covered custard pots, three sugar bowls, slop bowl, tea cups and saucers. (50)First image: - Sucrier lid may probably have been restored, rubbing to the gilt, losses to enamel. Teapot en suite with sucrier lid probably restored, crack on teapot from top to bottom and restoration to spout.Copeland & Garrett Teapot with purple and yellow flowers has three star cracks to base, spout and handle heavily crazed. Hairline crack goes all way round handle at the top. Firing crack on handle, hairline crack to spout at the base.Plates damaged and discoloured, saucer hairline crack, one teacup with multiple hairline, one damaged handle, one handle restored. Three saucers with hairline cracks. Two handled bowl restored with damage to the handles. Many items cracked.White and gilt service has rubbing to the gilding and damage accross many of the items, condition is generally compromised and restored.
