A George III silver teapot, Abraham Peterson, London 1791, of simple plain polished shape, later engraved to one side within a floral cartouche 'E.E.Thomas, the gift of Margaret Maria & Maude Sarah Hay Williams, 9th June 1856, with wooden handle and finial, 14cm high Provenance; Formerly part of The Bodelwyddan castle private collection. CONDITION REPORT: Later engraved with dedication (as per lot description), dent to the foot rim of the teapot to the back, small dent to the side of the teapot beside the spout, marks good and clear, cover sits well. some minor surface scratching and wear.

Hallmarks slightly rubbed but still legible. Would need a clean. Gilt interior still good. Milk jug does have a slight wobble when placed on a flat surface. Sugar bowl has two dents to two lobes.
