Elizabeth Mary Watt GSWA (Scottish, 1886 - 1954) Art Deco Jazz pattern porcelain tea and coffee service comprising a teapot, pair of biscuit plates, two cream jugs, two sugar bowls, twelve side plates, twelve saucers, eleven cups and three similar cups, three coffee cans and four saucers, similar ashtray and a twin-handled tray, hand-painted with rich colours on a pale blue glaze, initialled EMW to all pieces with Royal Doulton backstamp to the underside of some of the pieces. (55) ARRCONDITION REPORT: No. 233 stamped below the ashtray. There is a chip to the rim of two saucers. There is a chip to the handle of one cup. There is a hairline crack to the underside of a biscuit plate. There is age-related colour fading and crazing to a number of the pieces. There are repaired chips to the underside of the coffee pot lid.
