An elegant Chinese Export white metal tea service, comprising: an oviform teapot with hinged cover by Wang Hing & Co. decorated in high relief with a design of a dragon and a phoenix, 24 cm long, hallmarks WH 90, together with a sugar bowl decorated with botanical designs, about 15 cm diameter and a cream jug decorated with birds, pine and fruit, 13 cm diameter, the last two also hallmarked. Qing Dynasty (3)Please note that teapot is 686.6 gm/sugar bowl is 312.1 gm/milk jug is 260.5 gm. Some areas of deterioration or damage, including: areas of wear and/or polishing, and extremity bruising to mouth of milk jug; and bruising/bending to the spout extremity of the teapot. Please also note that this lot is subject to all Cites Regulations as the teapot handle is decorated with ivory.
