A Cantonese porcelain part tea service, comprising squat teapot, 13cm H, milk jug, two handled sugar bowls, cups, plates and saucers, each profusely decorated with birds and exotic animals, with floral and disc border in famille rose colours, unmarked. (a quantity) There is no apparent damage or restoration upon initial inspection, the only thing to comment upon is that one side plate does have a hairline crack of approx. 3cm around the rim and the teapot liner/strainer does have losses but still remains securely seated in the pot.
A Newhall old oval shaped teapot and cover, decorated with a knitting pattern no. 195, c1795, marked, 26cm L. Upon initial inspection there is a loss to the finial of the lid and a lead rivet repair to retain the remainder, the body appears to be in good order with a non significant Y shaped hairline to the base.
A Royal Doulton 'fish and pond weed' three-piece tea set, designed by George Tinworth, made c.1905, the teapot with seated frog finial, impressed marks with assistants marks, teapot 13cm highCondition: All pieces with typical minor glaze imperfections. The milk jug has good quality restoration around the rim and the edge of the foot with some occasional marks to the restoration, otherwise the set is in good condition with no visible cracks or chips.
