CONDITION REPORT: There are small chips to the spout, some dirt and light surface wear, there chips to the foot rim and a firing fault to the lid.
Two late 18th/early 19th century New Hall porcelain teapots, covers and stands, both painted with floral sprays, the first in puce and green with pattern no. 241 to bases, and the second in gold and blue with pattern no. 213 to bases, length of each teapot approx 25cm. CONDITION REPORT: The gold and blue teapot with firing crack to spout interior, two further presumably small firing flaws to upper section of handle joint and another to foot rim, rubbing to gilt on both pieces, surface scratches to dish, surface pitting, kiln dirt and other general wear present, the puce and green teapot with apparent glazing error to teapot rim interior, thin firing crack to upper section of spout joint and two handle joint lower section, further very minor presumed firing crack to rim rear section, otherwise some surface pitting, kiln dirt, various manufacturing imperfections, general light surface wear.
A late 18th/early 19th century New Hall porcelain teapot and cover with painted pink and red border above floral sprays and with pattern no. 94H to base, length approx 25cm, and a Flight Barr & Barr Worcester teapot, cover and saucer painted with purple floral sprays and gilt detail, with IV to teapot foot rim but otherwise unmarked. CONDITION REPORT: New Hall teapot with firing crack to inner rim interior, further minor firing crack, kiln dirt, manufacturing imperfections including to rim front left section, surface pitting, the Worcester with rubbing to the gilt work, small firing flaw to cover inner rim, teapot with surface pitting, manufacturing imperfections, some kiln dirt, some rubbing to the painted decoration, particularly to the lower section, saucer with similar wear to previously described, some surface scratches.
A boxed George V hallmarked silver Art Deco three piece tea service, comprising a teapot of tapering rectangular canted form, with bakelite C-scroll handle and finial, raised on stepped base, length 28cm, a sugar bowl and a cream jug, maker's mark THE, Birmingham 1935, combined approx 34.7ozt. CONDITION REPORT: Fitted case is at fault, some surface wear and scratches. Milk jug handle slightly bent, some small areas of tarnish.
WILEMAN & CO; a Foley (pre Shelley) 'Faience' teapot decorated with roses in panels with printed marks and numbered 7008 to base and a matching jug (2). CONDITION REPORT: The teapot lid has been completely restored, crazing and light staining to the teapot. The matching jug has crazing, light staining and heavy rubbing to the gilding.
SHELLEY; five 'Melody' pattern pieces including a sandwich plate, a teapot, an ashtray, a toast rack and bowl. CONDITION REPORT: The bowl is cracked very badly stained, the sandwich plate has a deep scratch to the centre of the plate and other small scratches elsewhere, the ashtray is dirty but otherwise ok, the toast rack has a large chip to one handle and is very dirty and the teapot has surface scratches and is very dirty.
WILEMAN & CO; a Foley 'Intarsio' Oriental teapot decorated with two bands of flowers and leaves, printed marks to base, Rd.No.330398. 3081, height 17.8cm. CONDITION REPORT: The spout has been extensively restored, crazing throughout. The finial is also restored to the lid and there is rubbing to the edge of the paint work of the lid. General surface wear.
A Carlton Ware part coffee set with chinoiserie decoration in gilt and enamels with further red and gilt detail, with printed marks and no. 3047 to bases. CONDITION REPORT: All crazed, some general surface wear with some rubbing to the gilt, some small areas of rubbing to the enamels, some pitting to interiors of the cups, etc. A few pieces with some small nibbles, especially the saucers around the edges, general manufacturing imperfections, some rubbing to the red detail of the teapot rim where it has been in contact with the lid.
G BRYAN & CO; a George VI hallmarked silver three piece tea set of squat rectangular form, comprising a teapot with bakelite finial and C-scroll handle, gadrooned rim and four bun feet, length 29cm, a sugar bowl and a cream jug, Birmingham 1946, combined approx 34.5ozt (3). CONDITION REPORT: The handle and the knob are in good condition, the lid does not quite fit properly and there are a few small dents and surface scratches throughout.
A very large collection of Royal Albert 'Old Country Roses' (some seconds). CONDITION REPORT: Heavier than normal wear to some of the plates, fading to the decoration, rubbing to the gilding, some are seconds, surface scratches to the plates and used pieces, some staining to the teapot and cups.
