The lot consists of a coffee pot, teapot, a milk jug, a sugar bowl with lid, five cups and saucers, six bowls, a serving platter, nine large dinner plates, eight shallow bowls, fifteen medium sized dinner plates, fourteen small plates and eight cake plates

A Burgess & Leigh Aesthetes teapot, late 19th century, with transfer printed decoration of a Japanese figure holding a parasol and lantern, two copper lustre jugs with applied sprig decoration and two Prattware pot lids, ice skating and Pegwell Bay, each within oak mount. CONDITION REPORT: The lid of the teapot is intact however there is a line visible on two sides which is a manufacturing flaw, the line has been glazed over. There are some small amounts of rubbing to the glaze on the interior but nothing that is too detrimental. The teapot itself appears to be in good order throughout with no obvious chips, cracks or restorations visible. There is only minor rubbing to the gilding. There are no obvious post production flaws visible.

Tallest 26cm high.
