Ginger jar - scratched to enamel. Teapot - chip to underside of teapot lid, crack to the lip of teapot, small chips to footrim. Tea bowl and saucer - very small chip to edge of bowl. Blue & white gravy boat - losses to gilt, crack to spout. Small vase with fish - small chips to footrim, losses to frieze at base.
A mid 20th century Hammersley part tea service with floral decoration together with Paragon part tea service Condition Report / Extra Information Chip to spout of teapot and crack to base, chip to inside of cover. Wear to gilt edges of saucers. Crack to 11 saucers. Small chip to footrim of jug. Teacup with 2 large cracks from outer edge and all around base. 4 other teacups cracked. Chip to underside of one side plate. One larger side plate cracked. All with wear and surface scratches.
A George III Scottish silver teapot and stand by McHattie and Fenwick, Edinburgh 1802, the oval body with engraved thistle bands, ebonised loop handle and knop finial, the stand en suite, the teapot 29cm long (2) There are some small dents to the body and possible repair to the seam above the spout. Possible repair also to one of the feet on the stand.
