The cylindrical teapot with a slender handle handle and slightly curved spout, painted in underglaze blue with panels of precious objects and flowers, the cover similarly decorated. The base with an underglaze blue four-character Qianlong nianzhi reign mark and possibly of the period.Condition: Overall good condition with minor wear and small firing irregularities, the cover with a tiny chip to the rim and the teapot with two glaze flakes at the handle and one at the spout. A MARKED YIXING CERAMIC TEAPOT AND COVER, c. 1920sChina, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912-1949). Of hexagonal compressed globular form with curved spout and c-shaped handle, carved below the mouth rim with a band of narrow lotus leaves, the cover similarly decorated. With a six-character seal mark to the base which reads 'Zhening Yuchengyao zao', the underside of the cover with a further mark. Condition: Excellent condition with minor wear.
