A small Staffordshire 'Whieldon' creamware teapot and cover circa 1750the globular body applied with sprigs of fruiting grapevine issuing from the crab stock handle, the glaze with splashes of blue, green and manganese, 8cm high and approximately 14cm across.Condition:Crazing to the glaze throughout. X shaped hairline visible to the interior of the teapot. Restoration to the very tip of the spout and two restored chips to the cover. Restored break near the rim of the teapot, approximately 2cm wide x 2cm deep.

A Coalport imari twin-handled cabaret service, circa 1880, with butterfly handles, comprising a tray, 45cm wide, teapot and cover, sucrier and cover, cream jug and four quatrefoil cups and saucers, printed factory marks (tray badly cracked, foot ring broken off one cup)Provenance: Ivor Southorn Collection.Condition:Tray badly cracked. The foot ring on one saucer is broken. Another saucer is badly stained. One cup had a shallow rim nibble, another has a fleabite and two hairlines. The cream jug handle has been broken and cleanly restuck. Teapot with long body crack and a glaze scratch to the spout. The interior of the teapot looks to have restoration to try and stop the body crack getting worse.No other damages or repairs. See images.
