A heavy matched hallmarked silver tea service comprising teapot, large two-handled sugar and smaller teapot; the large teapot with finial modelled as a Chinaman seated on a tea chest. Each item with foliate engraved panelled sides and shaped foot. The smaller teapot with some lead solder repairs prevalent to the outside of the body, minor dents to the two-handled sugar, the larger teapot in relatively good order, maker's mark G.R (the larger teapot 21.5cm) and assayed London 1845, the sugar assayed 1847 and the smaller teapot assayed 1849 (total combined weight of  three 1476g)

Three pieces of ceramics:A late 19th century continental trembleuse comprising saucer with deep reservoir and lidded cup. Each piece hand gilded with various vignettes of floral sprays and the tapering-sided cylindrical mug typically decorated with a vignette of lovers in 18th century dress within country surroundings, the vignettes' reserves against a celeste-blue ground, printed and incised marks to underside (cup 13.5cm including finial); An early 20th century Japanese porcelain teapot and cover with bentwood bamboo handle; A hand-decorated maquette-style female figure with long blonde hair and long flowing blue dress (the figure 16.25cm).Condition Report: The saucer of the trembleuse is generally good with some minor 'gilt rubbing' with no cracks , chips or restoration noted although a deliberate scratch has been put through the oval green printed mark to the underside and this also has been scratched to the underside of the cup. Perhaps denoting second quality, the cover to the cup also appears to be in generally good overall original condition with the fruit-shaped handle/finial exhibiting further gilt rubbing and a hairline noted to the inner lip. Visible from the inside and outside. The cup itself appears to be in good general condition with no problems noted,  the handle looks good and the central vignette also. Please note another scoring mark through the green mark on the underside.

Lot 134

A hallmarked silver teapot with carved wooden handle and turned finial, maker's mark SD Ld, assayed London 1922 (total weight approx. 592g)Condition Report: There is some discolouration to the bottom of the inside as expected through usage. The hallmarks are legible, the handle and finial appear to be good order, the lid sits flat. Regent St retailer's mark to underside together with numbers, the spout and hinges are good and the join between handle and body is also good. No major problems noted.

Herend 'Rothschild Bird': two teapots, a sugar bowl, a set of six teacups and saucer, and one larger teacup and saucerCondition Report: It is noted that all pieces appear to be in very good condition with no problems noted, the undersides of the pieces exhibit transfer, impressed and hand-painted marks, and the decoration is bright and vibrant. The very large bullet-shaped teapot appears to be in excellent order with no problems noted, the spout and handle are both good. The cover in the form of a flowering bud is good. The smaller teapot is also in excellent condition with one minor point to note that the bird finial had lost a very tine piece of it's beak
