The moulded flowering stems decoration with one bud chipped and lacking, two flowers badly chipped and one with a small chip to the petals. Several of the leaves and some of the stems with minor scattered chips. On the teapot, the painted scenes with some scratching to the enamels around the lower body. Very small chip to lower part of the tip of the spout. Tiny chip to rim of flange of cover. As noted in the catalogue description, the decoration is later and possibly 19th century.

The cover a contemporary 18th century replacement (possibly from another item in the same tea service). Some very minor wear to gilding, particularly to the bands around the upper rim of the teapot, to the mouth of the spout and to the handle. There is a short firing crack to the upper terminal of the handle, where it joins the body of the teapot. The cover with some very minor chipping to the flange.

The teapot spout with restored section to lower part of tip of spout, short typical firing crack to upper rim where covers sits, a very small flat chip to the underside of the footrim and some typical small flakes and wear to enamels. The cover with stalk section of fruit finial restored. The tea caddy cover a replacement. The tea caddy with some very minor flakes to enamels. The teabowls with a few minute glaze flakes and scratches but overall in good condition. The saucers both with some very minor wear and small flakes to enamels in well.

The circular dish with a narrow flat chip to the underside on the footrim and a few scattered small flakes to the enamels of the figural scene. The sugar -bowl and cover in good order. The spoon-tray in good order. The teacups: in good order. The saucers: one with small flat chip to underside of footrim; one with two small flat chips to inside edge of footrim; one with very minor tiny chips to footrim. Overall some very minor typical wear to gilding and enamels.
