Each piece marked near rim. The teapot and hot-water jug each further part marked inside cover. There are some overall surface scratches and wear, consistent with age and use. The finish has been lost on the ebonised handles in places.

A Three-Piece George V Silver Tea-Service, by Holland, Aldwinckle and Slater, London, 1915, each piece in the George III style, compressed circular and on collet foot, with reeded band and leaf-capped handle, the teapot with ivory insulators, the teapot 26.5cm wide over handle, total gross weight 46oz 9dwt, 1,442gr (3). Each piece fully marked near handle. The teapot further part marked inside cover, on finial and handle. There is some wear to the marks, though each is generally still legible. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There is some pitting, mostly to the teapot. There is some discolouration and cracking to the ivory insulators.

A Belgian Silver Teapot and a Similar Belgian Silver Hot-Milk Jug, Maker's Mark AP?, Brussels, Circa 1764, the teapot inverted pear-shaped, the hinged cover cast with rocaille, 20.5cm wide over handle, the hot-milk jug pear-shaped and on three scroll feet, the hinged cover cast with rocaille, later engraved with a crest, each with wood handle,16cm high, total gross weight 21oz 1dwt, 655gr (2) . Each is marked underneath with maker's mark AP?. With further lion rampant mark and a further crowned '64' mark. There is some wear to the marks. There is overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The teapot has the remains of an engraved 'D'. The jug is later engraved with a Scottish crest. The wood handles are replaced.
