An extremely rare Meissen Bottger hausmalerei teapot and cover. Of compressed globular form painted in red monochrome with hunting scenes by Ignaz Preissler depicting three men and hounds in pursuit of a stag. With gilded fluted moulding round the cover rim and foot. Porcelain dates to c1720 decoration slightly later 6.5". Chips to tip of spout and a small chip to the foot. Provenance; Christie's C. H. Fischer sale 13-15 May 1918 Lot 662 as Du Paquier.
Fine late Victorian Derby 'imari' pattern teaset, pattern number 198, circa 1883 (some pieces with year cypher), comprising a 2-handled rectangular tray, matching pair of baluster tea caddies with covers, matching rectangular section teapot with cover, matching rectangular section milk jug with cover, matching rectangular section sugar bowl with cover, and four matching teacups with saucers (14).

A composed George III three piece silver tea-set, the teapot, London 1815, with semi-fluted body with gadrooned borders, the spout and thumb-piece with acanthus leaf decoration, on scroll mounted paw feet, together with a similar George III silver sugar bowl and cream jug, possibly Emmanuel Levy, Exeter 1817. Weight 1181g, 38oz.
