A late 19th Century Royal Worcester Aesthetic reticulated teapot and cover in the manner of George Owen, the globular double walled body with two cartouche panels beneath the handle and the spout each decorated with gilt cranes in flight over a mountainous landscape and trailing flowers, the sides with a pierced honeycomb pattern within jewelled borders, the handle and spout formed as bamboo, the flat cover in gold, puce mark with date code for 1879, height 14cm, restored.

CONDITION REPORT:Teapot engraved with english presentation engraving dated 1906.Milk jug appears to have once had a lid which is now lacking.Overall heavily tarnished and with pitting especially to the bases.Sugar bowl lid a very tight fit. One tiny crack to one saucer rim. One tiny hole (glaze imperfection more than likely) to back of the other saucer.

Ceramic handled jug: also cracked/damaged and crazed. Lid also has a crack. First teapot in images: lid broken and smashed, no lid knob. Handles broken, numerous cracks throughout. Other teapot: missing knob to lid otherwise appears consistent with age. Lidded sugar basin: lid cracked and chipped.
