A George IV silver teapot, possibly Charles Thomas Fox, London 1829, of squat lobed form, the cover with pumpkin finial and fitted a carved ivory handle, crested, gross weight approximately 850gm/Note: Crest of Lee Condition Report: . No signs of repair . Slight dents which are clear on the extra images if you enlarge them. . Crest engraved to both sides . Marks clear in lid and base and matching . Traces of gilding to interior Basin - Wear in line with age and usage. Traces of gilding to interior. Small dent to side, marks a bit rubbed. Teapot - Wear in line with age and usage. If quite full the teapot fills 8-9 antique teacups. Long inscription to Mr A Moir dated 31st December 1903 - image attached.
A five-piece silver tea service, Charles Clement Pilling, London 1911, of circular form, the pierced borders decorated swags of harebells to wavy rims, comprising kettle on stand with burner, teapot, coffee pot, sugar basin and jug, the kettle on stand, Sheffield 1913, approximately 3380gm/see illustration Condition Report: Tea kettle stand and burner in good condition, snuffer operable, finial to cover does not match teapot and hot water jug. Tea pot, finial split, small dents in main body and pierced border. Hot water jug in good condition. Cream jug, slight irregularity at spout. Sugar bowl good condition.
A rare painted wood teapot tea caddy, with parcel gilt decoration with a fan patera, the hinged lid with a turned finial to a foil lined interior, probably 19th century, 17.8cm high, 22.8cm wide. Lot 104 – teapot tea caddy. Old hairline splits to lid and around the back edge of lid where it meets the hinge. The lid with a slight smile. Old surface marks, dents and minor scratches to surface overall. Some wear to gilding especially to the fan patera on the front of the caddy and also to a finial and detailing on the handle. Old hairline cracks to base.
