A Chamberlain Worcester tea set, circa 1800, decorated in gilt and enamel with a foliate pattern, comprising a teapot, cream jug, sucrier, bowl, six cups, six saucers and a side dish. Provenance: Removed from Sun Court, Hadleigh: From the Estate of David Tron, King’s Road Antiques Dealer.Some gilt and enamel wear. One saucer has a rim chip and some light hairlines and crazing. Another saucer has a crack on the rim. Another has a chip and cracks. The teapot knop has been reglued and the spout has been restored. The sugar bowl has a hairline on the rim. Another saucer reglued.
