Maskaronausgüsse und Asthenkel mit plastischem Blattansatz. Fein gemalte Bouquets in abgestuftem Emailblau. Vergoldete Zierate. Blaumarke Zepter (alle Teile außer Kaffeekanne, Sahnegießer, Zucker- und Teedose, deren Böden unglasiert und abgestrichen), diverse goldene Malerzeichen und frühe Presszeichen auf den unglasierten Böden. Kleine Restaurierungen. Kaffeekanne H 23, Kumme D 15 cm.Berlin, KPM, um 1764.Während bereits die Manufaktur Wegely gute Erfahrungen mit einem Unterglasurblau gesammelt hatte, bereitete die Herstellung einer blauen Emailfarbe der KPM zunächst noch Schwierigkeiten. Unser Service ist ein sehr frühes und gleichzeitig ambitioniertes Beispiel für die Verwendung einer blauen Emailfarbe in der KPM. This service is an early and ambitious example of the use of blue enamel at KPM. A cursory look across the rest of service didn't show any notable issues. The service has been in use so there could be the odd bit of damage but none detected.
