A late Victorian ware tea set, green and gilt with crown finial to teapot lid, 13 pieces. CONDITION REPORT: The teapot is in generally good order but does have a surface glaze hairline crack to the inside of the base of approximately 4 cm in length. It does not run through to the underside of the base and is probably only a surface mark. The gilding is a little rubbed around the handle. Two of the five saucers have hairline cracks. All have rubbing to the gilding and they are all yellowed. One of the cups has a significant hairline crack. Another has a broken handle. All are slightly stained and yellowed. The cream jug is in good order with slight discolouration. The sucrier has a loss to the top left hand handle. We have the broken piece. The gilding is a little rubbed on all pieces.
Four pieces of French art studio pottery, early 20th century, with satin drip glaze, the two larger vases by the same maker, with brown toned drip glaze over a mottled grey ground, indistinct incised signature to bases, 10in. (25.5cm.) and 10½in. (26.75cm.) high; the two smaller pieces by Denbac, signed and numbered to the glazed bases, 3¾in. (9cm.) and 8¼in. (21cm.) high; together with an art pottery teapot with impressed mark 'Les Arconautes'. (5)

Cream jug and sugar basin: A couple of minute nicks to paint. Otherwise good. Cup: Good condition. Tea plate: Some small scratches and nicks to orange band of paint. Otherwise good. Saucers: Both with a few small nicks and scratches to orange paint. Otherwise good.
