Flower painting and gilding would appear to be by the hand or associated group throughout, whether marked pieces or unmarked.Teapot, cover & stand: Finial has been off and glued back. Hairline crack most of the way around the well of the teapot at the bottom. Rattles a bit when tapped. Slight wear to top side of stand. Base of teapot with iron-red SWANSEA mark.Sugar box and cover. Slight rubbing to the gilding of tip of finial. Box marked in iron-red SWANSEA.Slop bowl: No serious issues noted, un-marked.Milk jug: lightly fritted to the interior, iron-red SWANSEA mark.Two muffin dishes and cover: The cover has three manufacturing faults, marks through the blue ground near the top, also a firing crack to the join of the finial. light scratching to the wells of the dishes, all pieces with iron-red SWANSEA mark.Plates: One (marked) plate with old fashioned rivetted repair, it and four others with iron-red SWANSEA mark, all plates with some stacking wear to the gilding of the wells so none in trade commercial condition.Coffee cups and saucers: None of these are marked. One coffee cup cracked, one with cracked handle.Tea cups and saucers: None marked. Four teacups cracked, all with fritting to the interior. A London decorated Chinese Export part coffee service, possibly from the Atelier of James Giles, decorated with tropical birds, circa 1760-70, comprising: a teapot and cover, a hot water jug and a cover, a tea canister and a cover and two tea bowls and saucersCondition Report: One saucer has a star crack and two shallow rim chips of about 3-5mm each. The other has a 3cm long crack from the rim and a few rim nibbles. Gilt border to both worn. Neither 'ring'.One tea bowl with two vertical hairline cracks from the rim of about 1-2cm. A couple of small rim nibbles. The gilt band border to both rubbed.Teapot and cover: gilt band border of the cover worn, almost vanished, minute firing cracks to rim of teapot, slight wear to gilt tip of spout. Slight wear to gilding of tip of finial.Hot water jug: Slight wear to gilding.The tea canister with two restored sections to the rim of the cover and a small chip to the rim of the canister.Condition Report Disclaimer

Teapot handle a little wobbly. Jug does not sit perfectly on a flat surface. General light surface wear and scratches. Some rubbing to hallmarks. Tiny dents and some ever so slightly misshapen areas. Some rubbing and wear to gilt interiors of jug and bowl.

A Herculaneum porcelain Imari pattern 8080 part tea and coffee set, c.1812-15, including teapot, cover and stand, 18cm high, twelve tea cups, six coffee cans, nineteen saucers, a sucrier and cover, milk jug, slops bowl and dish, gilt pattern number 808, together with a Herculaneum Japan pattern 886 part coffee set comprising a coffee pot and cover, 23.5cm high, ten coffee cups and two saucersCONDITION: Japan pattern 808 - all items with some occasional wear to the gilding, some more than others, teapot cover has a broken finial with a metal repair and a few small splinter chips to the inner sleeve, three coffee cans are cracked, two teacups are cracked, three saucers are cracked or badly re-glued, eight saucers are heavily crazed, one saucer is slightly grazed and seven saucers ring true.Pattern number 886 - the coffee pot is heavily stained and crazed with a large chip to the tip of the spout and a crack and staining below the handle, four of the coffee cups are cracked or badly damaged, six coffee cups are slightly stained and crazed and do not ring, and two saucers are in good condition, one with some wear to the gilding on the rim.

A Meissen porcelain monkey teapot and cover, circa 1735, modelled by J.J. Kaendler, the seated monkey naturalistically coloured, wearing an iron red and gilt belt, her young in her arms and on her back forming the spout and handle, unglazed base, 19.5cm highCONDITION: There are tiny fritted and unglazed patches all over. The cover has losses to the leaves, a tiny splinter chip to the edge and a broken and loosely pinned fruit finial. The seated monkey's left foot is restored with discoloured and slightly cracked restoration around the area.
