A rare famille rose teapot and cover, Qing dynasty, Yongzheng period, painted to each side with a scholar seated amongst antiques and conversing with a boy, 10.5cm high/Provenance: Private Collection, Gloucestershire CONDITION REPORT: the feet have been replaced with some unglazed material, perhaps clay. Tiny chip to tip of spout. Restoration to bottom tip of handle. Tiny chip under inner rim of cover. Minor losses to enamels.

One teapot has had the spout broken at the base and rivet repaired. The teabowl, saucer and cover with some chipping to the petals. The bowl and cover with some small rim chips.
