A Foley China 1937 Coronation souvenir cup and saucer decorated with Royal carriage, a 19th Century Russian hand-painted and gilt decorated teacup of baluster form bearing printed factory mark to base, a 19th Century Staffordshire floral and gilt decorated fruit bowl, and a Continental porcelain part tea set decorated with floral sprays and with gilt initials CONDITION REPORTS The Foley China 1937 Coronation souvenir cup and saucer has some general wear and scuffs, some roughness to the foot rims, and some rubbing to the blue decoration to rims, but generally appears to be sound. Fruit bowl has various scuffs and scratches, and has iron red painting to the base (please see photos). The floral decorated tea/coffee wares has wear and scuffs, some wear to decoration, no lid present for the teapot, star cut to base of jug, various dirt and scuffs, some rims with quite heavy wear to gilding, one coffee cup with chips, some items with scratches and losses to the decoration particularly to banding and rims, floral spray painted decoration varies from cup to cup and from piece to piece within this collection (please see photos for examples), floral designs on saucers do vary a little but are fairly similar, one teacup handle cracked, some chips to the saucers. Size to the commemorative cup and saucer - cup approx 7 cm diameter, saucer approx 14.25 cm diameter. Fruit bowl size approx. 20.75 cm diameter. Height of coffee pot approx. 19 cm.

Masons and other similar Items with some wear, scuffs and craziing, are of various dates, larger square teapot approx. 22 cm high including handle, green and orange plate has large chip, green and orange patterned hydra type jug has been broken and glued. Other items appear to have a few small frits and some have slightly dull sound when tapped, but overall appear to be in reasonable condition.

A collection of late 19th Century and later black basalt wares Comprising a teapot and cover, the exterior sides relief moulded with alternating panel depictions of embracing lovers and floral sprays, set within laurel leaf borders, impressed factory mark, 14cm high, a circular cache pot, raised on a spreading circular low foot ring, adorned with relief foliate garlands and depictions of the Three Graces, 9cm high, a lidded sucrier further adorned with relief moulded depictions of classical and Bacchantes figures, and further basalt wares, some unmarked. (7) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1755: Teapot and cover - the teapot handle has been restored halfway down, the rim of the teapot also restored and it has an unusual treacle glazed interior which suggests it has been subjected to restoration. Oval sugar bowl and cover - cover minor interior chips, one chip to the exterior rim, the lower bowl good condition. Sucrier and cover - good condition. Circular sucrier and cover with applied decoration - restoration to circular cover, good condition, lid loose maybe associated. Small jardiniere - good condition. Small vase - good condition. Small spill vase with a classical bust - good condition.
