(4) CONDITION REPORT: All pieces look ok, some surface scratching and wear as expected, minor wear to hallmarks but ok, spout of water jug and teapot are different.
VICTORIAN SILVER FOUR PIECE TEA SET, comprising: teapot; water jug; cream jug and sucrier, overall engraved with foliage and armorial lion device and fan shaped finials, marked to bases: Elkington and Co. Birmingham, 1880. Maker's mark: Fredrick Elkington, 41 Troy ozs overall approx. 18.5cm high at tallest piece. (4) CONDITION REPORT: Teapot lid is detached but present, surface wear and wear particularly to engravings and armorial devices, hallmarks generally fairly good, some wear to maker's mark, no obvious significant damage or repairs.

Impressed and incised marks to base, dated: 1878, numbered: 85, monogram HB for Hannah Barlow. 10.5cm high. CONDITION REPORT: Handle badly damaged and repaired with staples. Nibbles to base rim and lid. Wear overall.

No obvious major significant damages, hallmarks minor rubs but good overall. Some surface wear, scratches and minor dinks.

A Chelsea white glazed figure of a Chinese man turning to stand over a teapot on a table, a jug on the ground behind him, 19cm (7.5 in) high (D) Literature: See ECC 1939, plate XI, Francois Boucher, 'Decoration Chinoise', Louvre Inventaire General Vol II About one half of the base is damaged, what was inhis right hand is missing as is his top knot. There is also a chip to the rim of the jug which rests behind him.
