A William IV silver teapot by Paul Storr, for Storr & Mortimer, London 1930, gourd shape with a domed lid, cast floral finial, chased and embossed with flowers and foliate, scrolling tendrils, within a scrolled outline, twin crests with a demi griffin and thistle and strap, fruitwood handle, raised on three scrolled feet, 18cms, (7") and a matching pear-shaped hot water jug, 21cms, (8¼"), 48ozs gross, (2).
A Spode part tea service, decorated in pattern 1799 with flowers and leaves in bright enamels on a dense iron red partridge eye ground, c.1800, some items matched, minor damages. Comprising: a teapot and cover, milk jug, slop bowl, cake plate, four tea cups, two coffee cans and five saucers. (16)
A Majolica `Isle of Man` teapot and cover, probably William Brownfield & Sons, modelled as a three-legged sailor seated on a rope coil and holding a furled Union flag, his third leg forming the spout, his head the cover, his shoulders moulded with the Three Legs symbol, 2nd half 19th century, a small chip to the hat, 22cm. (2) Brownfield was commissioned to produce these teapots for W. Broughton`s shop in Douglas. Some examples bear an advertising slogan in slip to the base of the pot.
A Meissen cabaret set, painted with alternating panels of courting young couples and flowers on a yellow ground, between gilt scale borders, cancelled blue crossed swords marks. Comprising: an oval tray, a teapot and cover, coffee pot and cover, a sugar bowl and cover, a milk jug, two covered cups and saucers, and two spoons.
