A Four-Piece George V Silver Tea-Service, by Edward Barnard and Sons Ltd., London, 1926, 1927 and 1928, each piece with reeded band and on lion mask-capped paw feet, comprising: a teapot; a hot-water jug, each with ebonised handle and finial; a cream-jug and a sugar-bowl, the hot-water jug 17.7cm high, gross weight 47oz 6dwt; Together With: A Silver Plate Mounted Oak Tray, with openwork gallery and on four bun feet, applied with a shield with an engraved inscription from the Great Yarmouth town council dated 1928, 51.5cm wide. Each piece from the tea-service is fully marked underneath. The teapot and hot-water jug further part marked inside cover. There are some surface scratches and wear, consistent with age and use. The cover of the teapot is slightly bruised and so doesn't close properly. There are otherwise some small dings. The tray has some wear to the silver plate. This is especially noticeable to the shield which has lost approximately 3/4 of the plating. The inscription reads 'This Tray and Accompanying Silver Tea and Coffee Set were presented to Mr Walter Lewis Smith Borough Accountant by the Members of the Gt Yarmouth Town Council & the Chief Officials of the Borough as a token of their esteem & Friendship & to mark his completion of fifty year zealous and devoted service in the financial department of the Corporation Sept 11th 1928'.

Each piece fully marked near handle. The teapot further part marked inside cover. The marks are generally clear. Each piece further stamped 'Manoah Rhodes & Sons Limited Bradford'. In generally good condition with some surface scratching and wear. The case is scuffed and with red rot in places and loss to the leather.
An Italian Teapot, Maker's Mark '1763MI', Late 20th Century, modelled as a seated camel, the head forming the spout, the handle modelled as a male figure tying a pack to the camels' hump, the hinged cover with loop finial, 27cm wide, 35oz The present teapot is a faithful reproduction of a glazed and gilded earthenware teapot, made by Moore Bros., an example of which is in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum, having been transferred from the Museum of Practical Geology (2815&A-1901). The charming shape of the teapot, often referred to as 'Karawan', ensured that it was a popular model, having been made not only in ceramic but also in silver, like the present example, and in silver plate, see for example one retailed by Mariage Freres, sold Sotheby's, New York, 30 March 2004, lot 12.. Marked underneath with maker's mark and further stamped '925'. In generally good condition with only some very minor surface scratches. The ring thumbpiece differs slightly from on the original teapot which is formed as a twisted rope.
A Three-Piece Indian Silver Tea-Service, by Oomersi Mawji, Bujh, Kutch, Late 19th Century, each piece globular and on four scroll feet, the sides ornately repoussé and chased with foliage scrolls and flowers on a matted ground, with angular scroll handle and cast squirrel finial, comprising: a teapot; a hot milk-jug, each with ebonised wood insulated handles, and a sugar-bowl and cover, the teapot 17.5cm wide over handle, gross weight 36oz 18dwt (3) . Each piece is marked underneath with maker's mark 'OM' only. The mark is generally clear on the hot milk-jug and sugar-bowl though is somewhat worn on the teapot. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a minor softening to the high points. There is some loss to the ebonised material on the handles. These may be later replacements. The cover of the sugar-bowl is bruised and somewhat ill-fitting.

Schleissner & Söhne, Hanau, First Quarter 20th Century, in the French Empire style, globular and on three foliage capped hoof feet, the hinged cover with anthemion border and fruiting finial, with ebonised wood handle, 14.5cm high, gross weight 8oz 18dwt . Marked underneath with pseudomarks. The marks are generally clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use as well as some bruising. The ebonised wood handle is slightly ill fitting.
A Continental Silver Model of a Pheasant, Maker's Mark UM over C Within a Teapot, 20th Century, realistically modelled and on a polished agate base, the pheasant, approximately 33.5cm wide. Marked under tail with with maker's mark and stamped '800'. There is a further mark on the top of the tail which may be a French tax mark. There are some overall surface scratches and wear, consistent with age and use. The tail feathers have some bruising and a small split. There is a section of one small feather lacking.
