A George III Silver Teapot-Stand, by Henry Chawner, London, 1793, oval and on four tapering fluted feet, engraved with foliage and centring and engraved coat-of-arms, 16.2cm wide, 3oz 17dwt, 121grFully marked underneath. The marks are generally clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There is a bruise to one foot. The has resulted in a bruise to the rim and causes the stand to rock slightly when placed on a flat surface.
