An extensive Royal Crown Derby 'Brittany' pattern dinner, tea and coffee service, comprising two serving platters, a twin handled tureen (lacking cover), two lidded tureens, a sauceboat and stand, nine 10.5" dinner plates, nine 8.5" plates, eight twin handled soup bowls and nine stands, a teapot, eight teacups, nine saucers, nine tea plates, a milk jug and a sugar bowl, a coffee pot, six coffee cans, seven saucers, and a sugar bowl.Condition report: This is a used item, as such it does has some condition issues. The handle on the tea pot has been seperated from the body at some point and has been repaired. The ajoining repair runs from the handle to the rim of the pot. There are cutlery marks on the dinner plates. The gravy boat has a small amount of gilt missing on its rim and gravy boat stand has a centimeter sized chip. Ware to the bottom of the coffee cups. Milk jug has also been repaired from the handle to the rim. One tea cup has a significant crack from its base to the top rim.Although there are a couple of issues, this is a good dinner set, that is still vibrant, with with no glazing issues and the majority of its gilt.
A Victorian tea service with floral decoration, comprising teapot, sucrier, milk jug, five teacups, six saucers, four smaller teacups, two cake/sandwich plates and one other plate.Condition report: This delightful service has been used and loved, so some pieces have signs of regular usage. Fading to colours and wear of gilding to some of the pieces. Staining inside milk jug. See photos for various cracks and wear. Overall, the condition is not bad, there are no major breaks or repairs.
Royal Albert 'Old Country Roses' dinner, tea and coffee ware comprising one lidded tureen, a meat plate, six 10.5" dinner plates, seven 8" plates, a sauce boat with stand, four pepper pots, a teapot, one teacup and saucer, a milk jug, a sugar bowl, a trivet, a two tier cake stand, a coffee pot, six coffee mugs, seven cake/sandwich plates, a milk jug and a sugar bowl.Condition report: This service is indeed first quality. There are a couple of condition issues that are ever so miniscule and are only visible to the discerning eye. One dinner plate has infinitesimal blemish in the middle of the plate, a tea cup has an unusual, but qute small stain near its handle. The coffee pot lid has a chip to the very nib of the lid. Most of the porcelain has ware to the bottom, where it has been moved during cleaning. These are not big problems, and do not overly detract to the good condition and aesthetic of this service.
