A rare Delft teapot, c. 1720-50, by De Drie Vergulde Astonnekes, polychrome, painted with shaped reserves enclosing blossoming boughs, against a green ground, twig handle and domed cover with animal knop, with painted mark and bearing paper label for Etienne Delaunay, Amsterdam (a/f). Note: Delaunay were notable antique dealers primarily active between 1880 and 1930 and their label is a good indicator of quality.
