Collection of Chinese ceramics including a blue and white porcelain plate painted with an elder in landscape, four-character mark, 18.5cm diam; a redware teapot, heightened with blue enamels; a polychrome decorated bowl and matching dish, the bowl 26cm diam; and a pottery vase applied with moulded foliage and chrysanthemum flower, 27cm.
A Sevres-style porcelain cabaret of deep blue ground, with “jewelled” enamel & gilt decoration, comprising: an 8¾” diam. circular tray with lobed border & on short foot; a small ovoid teapot, 4” high; a cylindrical sucriere, 3½” high; a milk jug on three short feet, 3” high; & two cylindrical cups with deep saucers; each with mock Sevres mark in gilt. (Teapot with minute chip to tip of spout; milk jug with small rim chip).
