A VICTORIAN PART TEA SET, comprising; teapot with cover, sucrier with cover, milk jug, each with crabstock handles, two serving plates, nine broad shallow cups, nine saucers, (also one slightly larger saucer) six tea / coffee cups, white ground with gilded cobalt blue panels, and hand painted floral spraysCondition Report – Teapot & Cover – No chips, cracks, restoration, some gilt wear to edges. Milk jug - No chips, cracks, restoration, some minor gilt wear. Sucrier – One handle missing to bowl, chip to foot rim. Square serving plate – small chip under rim. Circular serving plate – broken, pieces glued back together, Saucers – all have varying degrees of gilt wear, mostly very little, saucers very slightly in size. One has a few small chips to the foot ring, one has a crack about 1” long, one has a few small chips to the foot ring. Shallow Cups – Each have some degree of gilt wear, mainly little. One is cracked, one has a chip to the foot rim, one has a blemish to the side 1mm in diameter, like a tiny chip, one is cracked and has blemishes. Smaller cups - Each have some degree of gilt wear, mainly little, one is badly cracked in a few places, 3 are cracked, one has a chip to the foot rim, one has it’s handle applied slightly off true.

A COMPHREHENSIVE AYNSLEY PEMBROKE DESIGN DINNER SERVICECondition Report –One cereal bowl – over glazed rim chip, Oval meat dish – blemish to surface and scratches, one teacup small chips to rim, one cup with worn rim, teapot – interior of the lid chipped, chip to spout and gilt wear, oval dish with handles, chip to handle one end and gilt wear, scallop shaped bowl – chip to an edge point, rectangular dish – gilt wear, shell bowl – gilt wear, tazza in okay condition, one circular tureen – gilt wear and manufacturing error / blemish to inner lip of the cover. Other tureen – crazed lid, crack and nibbles to base and marked with a red ‘S’ (possibly a second), one cup cracked, 2 fruit serving bowls – one cracked both have gilt wear, taller ream jug – chipped rim and base (lump put of the base) cracked handle, the smaller jug in okay condition. Coffee pot- tiny chip to the lid, a couple of chips to pot base rim. Gravy boat – chip to rim and base, the stand okay, Petal edge serving plate – gilt wear, scratches, (marked as a second), Dinner plates – all marked as seconds, so errors, some in decoration, some colour areas missing rubbed mis-aligned. One saucer has rim chip, gold paint filled to cover, one saucer badly cracked, one saucer has gilt wear, two saucers are seconds, one with gilt wear / area gilt missing.

A DUTCH SILVER MINIATURE TEA POT the teapot possibly Fredrick Van Strant, 17th/18th century, with hinged shaped handle and two with Amsterdam town mark and date letter (3). Provenance: Part of the collection (lots 167-231) formed by Baron Michiels van Verduynen (1885-1952), the Dutch ambassador to the Court of St James’(1939-1942). After the collection returned to the family’s residence Huys Clingendael.
