A very unusual studio pottery teapot by the renowned English studio potter Carol McNicoll. She is credited with helping to transform the British ceramics scene in the late 1970's. Signed to bottom. 18.5cms h, 15cms from spout to handle. Excellent condition apart from crazing to the glaze inside.

A Spode 1956 pattern, early 19th century, teapot, with a Royal Crown Derby 2444 pattern ovoid vase, with shaped rim, three Royal Crown Derby pin dishes in the 1128 pattern and another similar, a sugar bowl in imari palette, a teapot, sucrier and cover early 19th century, with grey enamelled and gilt highlighted decoration and crown finials, a Victorian documentary frog mug titled in gilt 'TC Finsley Bonds' 13cm high and another documentary mug titled 'Emma Davies aged 27 AD 1870' both florally enamelled with a Mandarin pattern loving cup (12) CONDITION REPORT: 2444 vase - good condition, no obvious damage. 1956 Spode teapot - extensively cracked and stapled. grey teapot - finial damaged, crazed throughout, gilding worn, hairline crack to handle,grey sucrier - handles chipped, firing fault to one foot. Three pin dishes - all broken and re-gluedsugar bowl - cracked to base
A Carlton ware Orbit pattern part tea service comprising; a teapot and cover, cream jug, sugar bowl, pepper cellar, six teacups, two saucers, three triangular sandwich plates and two triangular cake plates with a matching cheese plate and cover (20) CONDITION REPORT: Some minor surface scratching commensurate with light usage. Butter dish some staining to the base, some staining to the underside of the cover and the rim. Two saucers stained and crazed to the wells of the saucers. Side dishes - some mis-firing to the underside of the side plates.

A George III silver teapot, Hester Bateman, London 1781, of straight sided oval form, with chased decoration and vacant oval reserves, ivory handle and finial, 13.5cm high, weight 12.8ozt CONDITION REPORT: Cover hinge soldered and tip of spout, split to base soldered, handle repaired to base fitting, a little tired - see images for clarification on these points, ivory stained and discoloured and splits evident. A Victorian silver teapot, Edward and John Barnard, London 1853, of compressed globular form, with all-over chased scrolling floral and foliate decoration and melon finial, ivory spacers to the handle, initialled 'CT', 14cm high, weight 20.5ozt CONDITION REPORT: Initialled to one side and not the other, cover sits flush, ivory spacers to the handle, marks clear and legible, some minor surface scratching and wear, interior dis-coloured through use, overall appears to be in quite good order. Clarice Cliff - Secrets - A shape 384 conical powder bowl and cover circa 1933 the cover hand painted with a stylised tree and cottage landscape by an estuary, the base with conforming banding, Bizarre mark, width 11.5cm.N.B - The base is marked 384 which in the catalogue is registered as the conical candlestick however this piece, as yet unrecorded, has been adapted with a lipped rim to support a cover which has been seemingly adapted from a conical teapot.
