There is some surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There is some pitting to the surface. The interiors are gilt.

There is overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the engraving at the high points. The handle and finial are later as are the engraved initials, which may be engraved over an erasure.

Fully marked underneath. The cover and handle each further part marked. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There are some cracks and discolouration to the ivory which shows no signs of having been added or altered in any way. There is a bruise to the foot which causes the pot to rock slightly when placed on a flat surface. The finial leans slightly.

The marks are generally clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There is a shallow bruise to one side of the base. The chain which should connect the cover and the handle is lacking.

The cream-jug and sugar-bowl each with pale engraving inside. There is some cracking and staining to the ivory handles. The cream-jug rocks slightly when placed on a flat surface.

There is some discolouration and cracking to the ivory. There is a prominent bruise to the base of the teapot and a shallow bruise to the cream-jug.
