There is some surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There is some pitting to the surface. The interiors are gilt.

There is overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the engraving at the high points. The handle and finial are later as are the engraved initials, which may be engraved over an erasure.

There is some discolouration and cracking to the ivory. There is a prominent bruise to the base of the teapot and a shallow bruise to the cream-jug.
