A 19th century Chinese porcelain teapot, cylindrical form, the ribbed body decorated with elaborate river scene showing fishing vessels, pagodas, pine trees within a mountainous backdrop in polychrome enamels and gilt decoration, steeply scrolled textured mottled handle and spout, 6½in. (16.5cm.) high, lacks cover.* Condition: Dark spot in glaze just above foot - from the making. Very shallow chip to rim - approx. 10 x 0.5mm. Miniscule glaze frit to top of spout tip. Lacks cover.

A rare late Georgian silver and parcel gilt saffron teapot, unmarked, hinged domed gadrooned lid with conforming carved wooden finial, the uprising gilt foliate rim over a compressed bun form body with half-gadrooning, gilt foliate capped joined scroll handle, on four cast floral and paw bracket feet, 6½in. (16.5cm.) long, weight 9.0 tr.oz.
