A pair of Worcester porcelain teapots, each of fluted melon shape, decorated in bright enamels, one in the Imari palette and the other with exotic birds, heightened in gilt, date codes for 1881 (a/f), h.13.5cm. Imari teapot – lid has old break and is in two pieces, with further star crack and chip to underside of spout, hairline crack to rim of teapot, large area of discolouration around the entire base.Exotic birds teapot – chips to tip of spout, worn to gilt.
