A good Edwardian three piece silver tea service George Nathan & Ridley Hayes, Chester 1908 and 1909, of lobed and tapered oval form, with foliate engraved borders and reeded rims, raised on conforming pedestal bases, comprising a teapot with ebony finial and composition handle, a swing handled sugar basin and cream jug, the teapot 12½in. (31.75cm.) long; together with a matched silver hot water jug by the same maker, Chester 1908, 7½in. (19cm.) high; and a pair of silver sugar tongs, gross weight 48.5 tr.oz. (5) See Illustration
