The main body of the teapot is in good order with just minor glaze flaws, discoloured hairlines to the glaze, etc.

CONDITION REPORT: All pieces with the exception of the coffee pot are in extremely good condition with no damage, no repairs and no restoration. The gilding is very good to all interiors and also to the edges. The coffee pot has no damage, no repairs and no restoration. It is however stained inside and crazed. It is perfectly serviceable. Please note catalogue description says tea set it is a coffee service.

Lot 7

A late Victorian green white and gilt tea set, Rockingham style and with foliate pattern, comprising teapot, sucrier, milk jug, 2 plates, 10 cups, 12 plates, 12 saucers. CONDITION REPORT: All pieces in this lot appear to be in very good condition with no damage, no repairs and no restoration. We cannot see any hairline cracks in any of the pieces. There is some very minor rubbing to the gilding and very minor losses to the paintwork on some of the pieces but none of this in our opinion is significant.

Lot 15

A Worcester "Boy at the Window" teapot and cover, ovoid form, polychrome, decorated with Oriental figures, height 14 cm, and a Worcester vase of fluted ovoid form, polychrome, decorated with floral bouquet and sprigs, height 13 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The pot itself has a series of hairline cracks running in particular around the base of the piece. These are visible from the inside and externally. There is an old riveted repair indicating that the piece has probably been in two pieces. There has been no attempt to disguise the repair. The spout has a small edge nibble at the front and a hairline crack at the rear. There is a small chip to the top rim. The lid is in generally good order with no significant issues other than minor nibbles to the top lip.

Lot 22

A Victorian brown transfer printed earthenware child's part tea set (17). CONDITION REPORT: The teapot has a small glaze chip to the spout. The glaze to the knop on the handle is a little rubbed. The sucrier has some brown staining around the foot rim and to the base. The sugar basin has a very small inside edge foot rim chip which is of little consequence. One cup has been broken into 3 pieces and repaired. One cup is quite brown stained and crazed. A third cup is slightly crazed and slightly browned. All other pieces are in generally good order.

An Art Deco Taylor & Kent floral patterned tea set, comprising teapot, sugar basin, milk jug, 6 cups, 6 saucers, 6 plates and sandwich plate. CONDITION REPORT: Other than minor tea staining to the interior of the teapot this lot is in very good order with no damage, no repairs and no restoration. There are no hairline cracks and the gilding and paintwork are in generally very good.

Lot 18

A Worcester "Boy at the Window" teapot and cover, globular form, polychrome, decorated with Oriental figures, height 14 cm, and a Lowestoft saucer dish, polychrome, decorated with flowers, diameter 12 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The teapot lid has a restored knop and restoration to the rim. Both areas are now discoloured. The teapot base has extensive hairline cracking and may well have been broken into several pieces. The cracking and glue marks are visible to both sides of the piece. There has been no attempt at disguise. There is discolouration to the spout. The saucer has four nibbles to the top rim. There are two hairline cracks across the foot rim one of which has spread right and left.
