A good Edwardian silver six piece tea and coffee service, in fitted oak case, comprising; twin handled tray with presentation inscription, spirit kettle on stand, teapot, coffee pot, twin handled sugar and cream, the tray having a gadrooned rim with leaf and cast corners and handles, the pots all of half reeded oval bombe form, maker Hukin & Heath (John Thomas Heath and John Hartshorne Middleton), tray assayed London 1902, all other pieces assayed Birmingham 1901/2, gross weight approx 270oz, all housed in a blond oak and velvet lined fitted case, having brass carry handles, case w.82cm Condition Report / Extra Information Appears very little used.Marks all good.Gilt wash to sugar and cream good.Spirit kettle possibly never used, complete with burner.Fitted oak box with minor knocks and scuffs.Velvet interior requires replacing.Basically excellent example.
