JAPANESE CARVED IVORY STUDY OF SEATED MUSICIAN Antique Japanese hand carved ivory study depicting a seated musician playing the shamisen. Near him is a small chest, books, tray with food and a teapot over fire. Finely carved throughout. Signed to red enameled inlaid plaque to bottom. 19th/20th century. Includes fitted wooden base. Measures 3 5/8" height x 4 1/4" width + 3/4" height (9.2cm x 10.7cm + 1.9cm). Ivory weight of 223 grams.

Has raised design depicting pine leaves and birds. Includes fitted wooden base. 18th/19th century. Measures 3 7/8" height x 6 3/4" length + 1" base height (9.8cm x 17.1cm + 2.5cm). Ivory weight of 441 grams.
7 PIECE CHINESE QIANLONG PORCELAIN TEA SET A 7 piece tea set of Chinese hand painted enameled porcelain. Each having scenes depicting maidens in a courtyard garden scene and having scrolled lotus blossom border design over yellow ground. Each holds four character Qianlong (1736-1795) period marks to bottom but probably made late Qing to Republic period. Teapot measures 6 1/4" height (15.8cm). Cups measure 2" height x 3" diameter (5.1cm x 7.6cm). Total weight of 1103 grams.
