A 19th century French silver teapot and sucrier, relief decorated and engraved with stylised foliage, the lids with figural finials, the sucrier with twin handles modelled as dragons, by Maurice Mayer, Paris circa 1870, teapot 17cm high, 36oz overall. (2)*ivory exemption reference PCA9W4FU.In good condition overall, though the sucrier has some dents to the side. Inscription to the lids is "La Rose de Florence" and a monogram.

(2)Teapot has handle detached and ivory insulators removed. slight dent to the foot rim, and some minor dents/knocks and scratches. Marks are clear. Inscription reads "Presented to Rev John O'Regan by his Parishioners and Friends Finglas 1858".
