The sugar-bowl is 1804. The other pieces are 1806. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There has been a repair to the top handle junction of the teapot. The engraved initials are perhaps later.

The wear is noticeable as a softening to the engraving and the high points. The handle on the teapot is probably replaced. The finial, which is probably original, has been cracked and re-glued. There has been a repair to the rim of the teapot and the tip of the spout of the teapot.

The foot of the teapot has been pushed slightly into the body and there is a small repair in this area.
