An Art Nouveau Continental beaten plate on copper spirit kettle on stand with burner 30 cm high together with an Art Deco style plated kettle with wooden handle and finial, the main body of rectangular form stamped "Harrods, London W" by HLD No'd 6379 25 cm long x 17.5 cm highCondition ReportThe plating is worn variously, spout has been squashed, signs of rusting especially to the handle. Other teapot - both wooden handles are split and loose/need reseating, areas of pitting and verdigree throughout, tarnishing etc. Both items have general wear and tear to include surface scratching, some light knocks etc - see images for more details
A 19th Century Indian beaten silver plated on copper interior water feature as a lily pond in a tapered flared rim bowl 29.8 cm diameter x 20.4 cm high, a 19th Century Chinese carved giltwood mirror stand of figural form 20.5 cm high x 19.5 cm wide, a Chinese white metal teapot of cube form with integral warmer, the exterior embossed with panels of script and floral sprays 11 cm high, Chinese cast bronze mirror or gong 20.5 cm diameter x 4.6 cm deep bears signature or inscription verso and two Chinese painted wooden and iron sandals and a lacquered stand of eliptical form 20 cm long x 9.5 cm deepCondition ReportWater feature - rock with lily leaf on is loose, unknown where this attaches. Unknown if in working order. Possibly something missing from one flower head, hole to one petal. There is a small split to the rim, knocks, bumps etc throughout. Mirror stand has a breakage, piece present, gilding is worn in various places and coming off. The teapot is missing its main handle, very dirty to the interior, knocks, bumps etc. The mirror/gong has verdigris throughout, large knocks to the main front, some form of plaster remnants to back - see images. Two sandals - leather straps missing off one, the other very brittle, probably later painted with dirt/rubbing etc and the darker sandal is slightly lopsided. Eliptical stand has knocks, bumps etc throughout. All items have general wear and tear conducive with age and use and being in poor storage - see images for more details

A Shelley "My Garden" pattern six place tea setCondition ReportHairline/star crack to base of teapot running up through the teapot to one side. Sugar bowl does not ring true although unable to see any specific damage, nor does milk jug and two cups. Most of the tea plates don't ring true, some have crazing evidence and one saucer doesn't ring true either. All items have light wear, surface scratching etc, don't appear to have had much use - see images for more details
BALLATER – A RARE SCOTTISH PROVINCIAL FOUR PIECE BACHELOR'S TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE WILLIAM ROBB marked WR, BLTR, the lids with additional ROBB / BALLATER triangular mark, comprising coffee pot, Edinburgh 1912, remaining items Edinburgh 1911, teapot, twin handled sugar bowl and milk jug, each of simple flared form with straight spouts and curled handles with heart shaped terminals, the bodies engraved with crest and motto to one side and italic initials to other, each additionally engraved ‘Ballater 1917’(Coffee pot 13.5cm high, combined weight 29.8oz)Footnote: Note: William Robb’s work is well recorded, making predominantly souvenir items for the Victorian and Edwardian tourists to Royal Deeside. More domestic items such as this are very rare. These four pieces show William Robb’s skill in making larger items and the fine detail of craftsmanship is obvious. While many makers would simple have bought items in and retailed them this is obviously hand made by him, a rare survival.
A MID 2OTH CENTURY TEAPOT AND WATERPOT BERNARD HARRINGTON, EDINBURGH 1952 each of baluster form with everted lobed rim, planished finish overall, the C scroll wooden handles with silver stud detail, the high domed hinged lids with wood ball finials(28cm height of coffee pot, 66.3oz weight (all in))Footnote: Note: Bernard Harrington registered his punch at the Edinburgh Assay Office between 1948 and 1975 when he was an active silversmith, designer and University lecturer. His legacy is not confined to his output of fine silver, which encompasses various civic items, including the Maces for the City of Dundee in 1954 and that of the Deacon Convener of the Nine Trades of Dundee in 1953. He will also be remembered for his influence on a much wider sphere of Scottish silversmiths and jewellers as the head of Silversmithing and Jewellery Department at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee. He held this position from 1943 until 1974 influencing a generation of students. His bold use of simple lines and traditional techniques set him apart from the mass produced / manufactured wares which had become commonplace throughout Britain since the end of WW1.
