A mid-Victorian silver gilt four-piece tea set, comprising spirit kettle on stand (lacking burner), teapot, twin handled sugar and cream, each with acanthus leaf capped reeded handles, beaded rims over oak leaf engraved friezes, the spirit kettle on stylised paw feet, gross weight 45.8oz, maker George Fox, London 1864/65, spirit kettle h.24.5cm. An excellent, very clean set.No splits, dents or repairs.Gilt good and bright.Appears very little used.Hairlines to ivory insulators on handles.Teapot handle requires new pin.
A Chinese Canton part tea service, comprising teapot, large cream jug, sugar bowl and cover, five large cups, five large saucers, nine smaller cups, seven smaller saucers, and four tea plates (some damage and losses), decorated in bright enamels in the famille rose palette, the exteriors each with various figure scenes within borders, having reserves of exotic birds, flowers and foliage, all heightened in gilt. Decoration rubbed and minor scratches throughout, please see images.The service has clearly been well used and has some signs of damage.One large dish with chip to rim, all others with nibbles to edges.Teapot - handle has been re-attached to a poor standard and has a large chip, spout and body appear intact, lid with large loss to handle.Jug – some minor nibbles, otherwise intact.Lidded bowl – some minor nibbles, otherwise intact.Bowl – has been smashed but most pieces are present.Saucers – most with minor damage and nibbles, one has been completely smashed and repaired.Four large cups – one with hairline crack, one has been smashed and repaired, the other two with minor nibbles only.Nine small cups – one has been smashed and repaired, the others with minor chips and nibbles.
A selection British and Continental ceramics, early 19th century and later, to include a Turner teapot, circa 1815, a cameo ware cheese bell and cover, a Wedgwood blue Jasper ware teapot and cover, a collection of Coalport Japanese Grove tea wares and further assorted tea wares to include Victorian trios, teacups and saucers etc (Qty) CONDITION REPORT: Turner teapot - handle riveted and broken in two places, nibbles to the spout, hairline cracks to the side, some nibbles throughout. Cover broken into three pieces and re-glued. Overall worn. Remaining items - gilt wear throughout, four of the tea cups have a descending hairline crack, one saucer has a hairline crack and crazed. blue bird Teapot - extensive crazing throughout and handle has been rivet repaired following a break.
A Coalport florally enamelled blue and gilt teapot, feint pattern number to base '2495', upon four gilt highlighted and foliate cast feet, 15cm high and a similar Staffordshire teapot with relief moulded scrolling detail to the body, 16cm high (at fault) CONDITION REPORT: Florally enamelled - extensive stained hairline crack to the underside and another to the body, some rubbing to the gilding throughout and minor scratching to the enamelling. Gilt highlighted teapot - Some mis-firing appearing as black speckling throughout, chip to the spout, firing crack to the foot rim. Both pieces are a bit grubby and would benefit from a good clean.
A silver bachelor's teapot Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd, London 1939, of squat bulbous form, with domed, hinged cover turned finial and angular handle, 14.5cm high, weight 15.3ozt CONDITION REPORT: Hallmarks rubbed but legible, numerous small dents to the lid, top finial secure, numerous small dents to the body and one larger one to the side, dent to the rim of the base in the same area, spout is in good order, no evidence of repairs, overall a slightly worn example.
A Royal Albert Kentish Rockery pattern tea service, comprising; twelve teacups and saucers, twelve cake plates, two serving plates, teapot and cover, sugar bowl and milk jug (41) CONDITION REPORT: Overall appears to be in good condition, there do not appear to be in chips or cracks. The service would benefit from a thorough clean throughout. Teapot holds approximately 2 pints.

A VICTORIAN SILVER TEAPOT by Joseph Angel II, London 1853, of pear shape with geometric and foliate engraved decoration, scrolling handle and bird's head style spout on plain circular pedestal base, 25cm high, 790gms Condition Report:- Only issue is the pot wobbles slightly, the pedestal base shows signs of silver solder on the underside, so it may have been repaired.

I could not see any restoration.
