This was an extra edition of the Real Madrid monthly revista dedicated entirely to the remarkable career of Di Stefano and is regarded as the programme for this game. Good

1908 CHARITY SHIELD - MAN UTD Eight page Chelsea programme issued to cover the 1908 Charity Shield , Manchester United v Queens Park Rangers at Chelsea, 29/8/1908. This was the first ever year that the Charity Shield was held and it took place between the Winners of the Football League (Manchester United) and the winners of the Southern League (QPR). The first match, also at Chelsea finished in a 1-1 draw , held on 27/4/1908. After much debate , it was decided to replay the match and United won the replay 4-0. This programme is for the replay and also covers Chelsea v Preston the following Tuesday 1/9/1908. Eight page issue , not ex bound volume but an original issue , in good condition . There are a few marks but no writing and the marks are insignificant. This programme is especially significant as it is for the first game in which the Charity Shield was won and it is a scarce programme. Generally good

BOLOGNA - MAN CITY 1970 Trophy presented to Ken Mulhearn for the League Cup Winners Cup game, Bologna v Manchester City 2/9/70. The trophy has a match inscription and consists of a Greek God type figute with a trident in his hand. Metal, on a plinth and measures approximately 6 inches. Bologna won 1-0 and drew 2-2 in Manchester in the return game. This Cup played between the Football League Cup Winners of Italy and England was rather short-lived. Ken Mulhearn was reserve keeper for the game. Good
