The programmes have substantial differences as the Bolton team picture is completely different, both teams pen picture pages are different and the line-ups page is different as the Manchester United team that actually played is printed in one whilst the other has 3 team changes noted compared to the other issue. Unusual but one is likely to have been printed the day before the game whilst the other was probably rather sooner. Generally good

WARTIME 1942 Scarce single sheet Dulwich Hamlet programme for game , British Army v Czechoslovak Forces, 7/3/42 at Dulwich, the British team was made up of amateur players including 3 from Walthamstow Avenue and others included White of Spurs and Hopper of Reading. The programme has two punch holes and is a little creased but condition is "Fair". Also included is a boxed rectangular medal inscribed on one side "Football Meetings of the Allied Armies In Great Britain , February-March 1941" and the other side is inscribed " The Czechoslovak Army to Its Friends In The Fight For Freedom." Comes in original box with name of manufacturer , Butler and Co, Birmingham noted inside the lid. This medal is from the Czech captain and organiser, Deutelbaum and was probably a medal that the Czechs presented to opposing teams. As described

OLYMPIC GAMES 1936 Ticket for the Football Final, Italy v Austria, 15/8/1936 in the Olympia Stadion, Berlin. Italy won 2-1 after extra time ending a very eventful tournament during which one Italian player who had been sent off, refused to go, and continued to play. Austria lost to Peru after a pitch invasion by Peruvian fans who injured some Austrian players. The game was ordered to be replayed and Peru did not turn up. The ticket is complete with counterfoil and unused. Very good

SWINDON - ABERDARE 1927 Swindon Town home programme v Aberdare, 2/4/1927. This was the final season in the Football League for Aberdare who pre-season had merged with Aberaman, the first team playing in the Football League as Aberdare Athletic whilst the reserves played in the Welsh League as Aberdare and Aberaman AFC. At the end of the season Torquay Utd replaced Aberdare. Swindon won the game 3-2, slight fold. Good

Also covers Scottish, Rugby, Cricket, Cycling etc. Front page has picture of QPR defeating Plymouth 2-1. This was Arsenals first season in Division 1 and they lost their first game, at Newcastle, 3-0. Newcastle went on to become Champions. QPR- CHELSEA 63/4 Single sheet QPR home programme v Chelsea, 63/4, match decided the Champions of the South East Counties League as QPR were two points ahead of Chelsea but Chelsea had the better goal average and this was the final game of the season. QPR had the Morgans, Springett, Hazell, Sibley and Leach in their line-up whilst Chelsea had Boyle, Hollins, Houseman, Osgood, McCalliog and Wilks. Not bad for a third team/ youth game. Whilst we don't know the score, QPR were Champions with Chelsea runners up. Minor fold but no writing. Good
