Frith, Patent'', 19.5 cm long; another, chased to both sides with bittern in a landscape, the brass charger stamped, ''Patent'', 20 cm long; another, chased to both sides with depictions of dead game, 20 cm long; and another, attributed to Charles Henry Hattersley & Co., chased to both sides with a petallate roundel centred by a hound's head, 18 cm long (4). Frith - Good overall. Several small dents to one seam on base. Spring good. Bittern - Good overall. Several small dents to seam on base but no splits. Spring good. Dead game - Overall fair. Numerous small dents and dings. Possible small split to seam. Spring good. Hound's head - Small dents but overall good. Spring good.

First three with dents and dings but no splits. Dixon example rather worn on decoration. All springs good.

All with slight dents and dings but no splits. Example with flowering plants with old, small solder repairs to seam. First example with damaged spring but all others in good working order.
Four 19th Century Powder Flasks, comprising a pear-shaped brass example, chased to both sides with a scene of a sportsman with dog, shooting game, the charger stamped, ''Patent'', 19 cm long; another (possibly American) brass example, chased to both sides with a scene of a hunter shooting a stag, within foliate borders and surmounted by a stag's head, 18.5 cm long; another, of fluted bag form, the charger stamped, ''Patent'', 19 cm long, and another, copper example, intensively chased to both sides with hanging dead game within foliate borders, 20.5 cm long (4). First example with wear to chasing, some dents and dings and with damaged spring. Second example with slight losses to nozzle collar and slight dents and dings to body. Spring good. Last two with slight dings to body; both springs in good order.
