Rare programme for this FA Cup 6th round match. This is the match that a estimated 85,000 attended. Early on during the game two barriers collapsed and caused a crush which resulted in the death of 33 spectators with many 100's also injured. The Match was stopped whilst the deceased were bought onto the pitch and lain along the touchline covered in coats. Controversially the game was restarted without the removal of the bodies. Stanley Matthews who played in the game stated later that he was sickened that the game was allowed to continue Condition : Good
